POP®
POP® Brand Rivets consist of two parts; a rivet
body and, within it, a setting mandrel. The rivet
body is inserted into a hole in the materials to
be joined. The jaws of the POP rivet tool, hand
or power operated, grip the mandrel. When the tool
is actuated, the mandrel head is pulled into the
rivet body, expanding it, and forming a strong,
tight, reliable joint. The mandrel breaks and falls
away at a predetermined setting force.
